1. Come Holy Ghost who ever One Art with the Father and the Son, It is the hour, our souls possess With thy full flood of holiness. 2. Let flesh and heart and lips and mind Sound forth our witness to mankind; And love light up our mortal frame, Till others catch the living flame. 3. Almighty Father, hear our cry, Through Jesus Christ, our Lord most High, Who, with the Holy Ghost and thee, Doth live and reign eternally. Amen.

Psalmus 101 (2,13)

Hear, O Lord, my prayer: * and let my cry come to thee.

  1. Non avértas fáciem tuam a me: * in quacúmque die tríbulor, inclína ad me aurem tuam.

    2. Turn not away thy face from me: * in the day when I am in trouble, incline thy ear to me.

  2. In quacúmque die invocávero te: * velóciter exáudi me.

    3. In what day soever I shall call upon thee, * hear me speedily.

  3. Quia defecérunt sicut fumus dies mei: * et ossa mea sicut crémium aruérunt.

Thou shalt arise and have mercy on Sion: * for it is time to have mercy on it, for the time is come.

    2. For the stones thereof have pleased thy servants: * and they shall have pity on the earth thereof.

    6. Let these things be written unto another generation: * and the people that shall be created shall praise the Lord:

    7. Because he hath looked forth from his high sanctuary: * from heaven the Lord hath looked upon the earth.

    8. That he might hear the groans of them that are in fetters: * that he might release the children of the slain:

  8. Ut annúntient in Sion nomen Dómini: * et laudem ejus in Jerúsalem.

    9. That they may declare the name of the Lord in Sion: * and his praise in Jerusalem;

    10. When the people assemble together, * and kings, to serve the Lord.

He answered him in the way of his strength: * Declare unto me the fewness of my days.

  1. Ne révoces me in dimídio diérum meórum: * in generatiónem et generatiónem anni tui.

    2. Call me not away in the midst of my days: * thy years are unto generation and generation.

  2. Inítio tu, Dómine, terram fundásti: * et ópera mánuum tuárum sunt cæli.

    3. In the beginning, O Lord, thou foundedst the earth: * and the heavens are the works of thy hands.

Sap 5:1

Stabunt iusti in magna constántia advérsus eos qui se angustiavérunt et qui abstulérunt labóres eórum.

Then shall the just stand with great constancy against those that have afflicted them, and taken away their labours.
