1. O God of truth, O Lord of might, Who orderest time and change aright, Who send’st the early morning ray, And light’st the glow of perfect day: 2. Psalmus 83 (2,8)

How lovely are thy tabernacles, O Lord of hosts! * my soul longeth and fainteth for the courts of the Lord.

    2. My heart and my flesh * have rejoiced in the living God.

1 Cor 15:20-22

Christus resurréxit a mórtuis primítiæ dormiéntium: † quóniam quidem per hóminem mors, et per hóminem resurréctio mortuórum. * Et sicut in Adam omnes moriúntur, ita et in Christo omnes vivificabúntur.

But now Christ is risen from the dead, the first-fruits of them that sleep: For by a man came death, and by a man the resurrection of the dead. And as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all shall be made alive.

Deus, qui fidélium mentes uníus éfficis voluntátis: † da pópulis tuis id amáre quod prǽcipis, id desideráre quod promíttis; * ut inter mundánas varietátes ibi nostra fixa sint corda, ubi vera sunt gáudia.

O God, of Whom it cometh that the minds of thy faithful people be all of one will, grant unto the same thy people that they may love the thing which Thou commandest, and desire that which Thou dost promise, that so, amid the sundry and manifold changes of the world, our hearts may surely there be fixed, where true joys are to be found.
Through Jesus Christ, thy Son our Lord, Who liveth and reigneth with thee, in the unity of the Holy Ghost, God, world without end.
