1. Come Holy Ghost who ever One Art with the Father and the Son, It is the hour, our souls possess With thy full flood of holiness. 2. Let flesh and heart and lips and mind Sound forth our witness to mankind; And love light up our mortal frame, Till others catch the living flame. 3. Almighty Father, hear our cry, Through Jesus Christ, our Lord most High, Who, with the Holy Ghost and thee, Doth live and reign eternally. Amen.

Stir up thy might, O Lord, * and come to save us.

Give ear, O thou that rulest Israel: * thou that leadest Joseph like a sheep.

Thou hast brought a vineyard out of Egypt: * thou hast cast out the Gentiles and planted it.

  1. Dux itíneris fuísti in conspéctu ejus: * plantásti radíces ejus, et implévit terram.

    2. Thou wast the guide of its journey in its sight: * thou plantedst the roots thereof, and it filled the land.

  2. Opéruit montes umbra ejus: * et arbústa ejus cedros Dei.

    3. The shadow of it covered the hills: * and the branches thereof the cedars of God.

  3. Exténdit pálmites suos usque ad mare: * et usque ad flumen propágines ejus.

    4. It stretched forth its branches unto the sea, * and its boughs unto the river.

  8. Incénsa igni, et suffóssa: * ab increpatióne vultus tui períbunt.

    9. Things set on fire and dug down * shall perish at the rebuke of thy countenance.

God hath stood in the congregation of gods: * and being in the midst of them he judgeth gods.

  1. Usquequo judicátis iniquitátem: * et fácies peccatórum súmitis?

    2. How long will you judge unjustly: * and accept the persons of the wicked?

  2. Judicáte egéno, et pupíllo: * húmilem, et páuperem justificáte.

    3. Judge for the needy and fatherless: * do justice to the humble and the poor.

  3. Erípite páuperem: * et egénum de manu peccatóris liberáte.

    4. Rescue the poor; * and deliver the needy out of the hand of the sinner.

  4. Nesciérunt, neque intellexérunt, in ténebris ámbulant: * movebúntur ómnia fundaménta terræ.

    5. They have not known nor understood: they walk on in darkness: * all the foundations of the earth shall be moved.

Ier 17:14

Sana me, Dómine, et sanábor: † salvum me fac, et salvus ero: * quóniam laus mea tu es.

Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed: save me, and I shall be saved, for thou art my praise.

Deus, qui cónspicis, quia ex nulla nostra actióne confídimus: † concéde propítius; ut, * contra advérsa ómnia Doctóris géntium protectióne muniámur.
Per Dóminum nostrum Iesum Christum, Fílium tuum: † qui tecum vivit et regnat in unitáte Spíritus Sancti, Deus, * per ómnia sǽcula sæculórum.

O God, Who seest that we put not our trust in anything that we do, mercifully grant that through the protection of the Teacher of the Gentiles we may be defended against all adversity.
Through Jesus Christ, thy Son our Lord, Who liveth and reigneth with thee, in the unity of the Holy Ghost, God, world without end.
