Almighty Father, hear our cry, Through Jesus Christ, our Lord most High, Who, with the Holy Ghost and thee, Doth live and reign eternally. Amen.

Psalmus 101 (2,13)

Let my cry reach unto thee, O Lord: * turn not away thy face from me.

Hear, O Lord, my prayer: * and let my cry come to thee.

  1. Non avértas fáciem tuam a me: * in quacúmque die tríbulor, inclína ad me aurem tuam.

    2. Turn not away thy face from me: * in the day when I am in trouble, incline thy ear to me.

  2. In quacúmque die invocávero te: * velóciter exáudi me.

    3. In what day soever I shall call upon thee, * hear me speedily.

  3. Quia defecérunt sicut fumus dies mei: * et ossa mea sicut crémium aruérunt.

    4. For my days are vanished like smoke: * and my bones are grown dry like fuel for the fire.

    7. Because he hath looked forth from his high sanctuary: * from heaven the Lord hath looked upon the earth.

    8. That he might hear the groans of them that are in fetters: * that he might release the children of the slain:

He answered him in the way of his strength: * Declare unto me the fewness of my days.

  1. Ne révoces me in dimídio diérum meórum: * in generatiónem et generatiónem anni tui.

    2. Call me not away in the midst of my days: * thy years are unto generation and generation.

Ab inítio et ante sǽcula creáta sum, † et usque ad futúrum sǽculum non désinam, * et in habitatióne sancta coram ipso ministrávi.

24:14 From the beginning, and before the world, was I created, and unto the world to come I shall not cease to be, and in the holy dwelling place I have ministered before him.

Concéde nos fámulos tuos, quǽsumus; Dómine Deus, * perpétua mentis et córporis sanitáte gaudére: † et, gloriósa beátæ Maríæ semper Vírginis intercessióne, a præsénti liberári tristítia, et ætérna pérfrui lætítia.
Per Dóminum nostrum Iesum Christum, Fílium tuum: † qui tecum vivit et regnat in unitáte Spíritus Sancti, Deus, * per ómnia sǽcula sæculórum.

Grant, we beseech thee, O Lord God, unto all thy servants, that they may remain continually in the enjoyment of soundness both of mind and body, and by the glorious intercession of the Blessed Mary, always a Virgin, may be delivered from present sadness, and enter into the joy of thine eternal gladness.
Through Jesus Christ, thy Son our Lord, Who liveth and reigneth with thee, in the unity of the Holy Ghost, God, world without end.
